Lichelle Chan

Early Childhood Education leader, lecturer, and trainer · Asian International College

Lichelle Chan is an Early Childhood Education leader, lecturer, and trainer with over 15 years of experience in teaching, curriculum development, educator mentoring, and professional learning. As Associate Head of the English Faculty at Asian International College, she supports the professional growth of early childhood educators through teaching, mentoring, and bridging theory with practice. Throughout her career, Lichelle has led curriculum planning and implementation across diverse age groups, developed and reviewed Early Years curriculum, mentored educators and designed professional development programmes to strengthen pedagogical practice. As an adult educator, she has delivered accredited training programmes from Certificate to Advanced Diploma levels, supervised pre-service educators, and facilitated professional learning workshops for educators both locally and internationally. She has conducted trainings in Hanoi, where she supported preschool educators in implementing STEAM approaches in early childhood settings and parental workshop in managing challenging behaviour. In addition, Lichelle has presented at major early childhood symposiums and facilitated workshops on children's behaviour, social-emotional development and positive guidance strategies for educators from established preschool organizations and brands in Singapore. These experiences have enabled her to engage diverse educator audiences and support the translation of research and theory into effective classroom practice. Drawing on her extensive experience in educator development and classroom practice, Lichelle brings a practical, reflective and research-informed perspective to her workshop, Understanding Behaviour: From Challenges to Connection. Through this session, she supports educators in looking beyond children's behaviours to better understand their underlying needs, strengthen educator-child relationships, and create responsive learning environments where every child can thrive.

Wendy Tee

Early Childhood Education professional, trainer and workshop facilitator

Wendy Tee is an experienced Early Childhood Education professional, trainer and workshop facilitator with over 25 years of experience in the sector. Her professional experience spans centre leadership, curriculum practice, educator development, adult learning and coaching. From 2009 to 2019, Wendy managed two Montessori-inspired early childhood centres, where she led curriculum planning, educator development and quality improvement. Since 2020, she has been a lecturer and trainer, supporting early childhood educators through teaching, mentoring and professional learning. Wendy has facilitated workshops in Singapore and Hanoi for educators and early childhood leaders. Her facilitation experience includes professional development workshops at the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) Conference, as well as for established preschool organizations and brands in Singapore. She holds the Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) and has undertaken professional training in coaching with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Drawing on her experience in educator development and coaching, Wendy is passionate about the early years and the importance of quality experiences during children’s formative years. She is committed to empowering educators and leaders to grow professionally and create meaningful, responsive and developmentally appropriate learning environments. Wendy brings a practical and reflective approach to her workshop, Think Deeper: Empowering Young Minds Through Questioning Techniques, where she shares purposeful questioning strategies to spark children’s curiosity, deepen conversations and encourage higher-order thinking.

Tricia Tam

Head, Inclusive Education (Busy Bees Asia) & Faculty Lead, Inclusive Education (Asian International College)

Tricia has 21 years of experience in early childhood education, including 16 years in special education (children aged 18 months to 18 years). She has worked with children with a range of developmental challenges, developing individual education plans that bring positive outcomes. Tricia takes a collaborative approach to advancing inclusive practices in preschools, ensuring that all children have an equal opportunity to learn. She is committed to continually developing her knowledge and skills in inclusive education to better support the children and families she works with. Her goal is to make a meaningful and lasting impact by fostering children’s growth and development in communication, social, and cognitive skills. Lead Early Intervention Specialist (Busy Bees Asia)

Jane has over 10 years of experience supporting children in special education and early childhood settings. She has worked with children aged 3 to 18 with a range of developmental needs and is passionate about creating inclusive environments where every child can thrive. An advocate for early intervention and inclusion, Jane works closely with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support children’s learning, development, and participation. Her professional interests include inclusive education, programme development, and strengthening systems of support for children with diverse needs. Elly Chong

With a degree in Biomedical Science and a Master’s in Early Childhood Education, she has spent the past 14 years working with young children and developing a strong passion for using music to support their holistic development. She facilitates engaging music and movement experiences through songs, rhythm, movement, instruments, and creative expression. She is not here today to “teach”, but to share her experiences, ideas, and practical insights gathered through various music workshops and her journey in early childhood education. She hopes to inspire every educator to feel confident and empowered to bring the joy and magic of music into their own classrooms.

Fadly is the Art Specialist Mentor in Odyssey the Global Preschool, with 20 years of experience working with young children. He graduated from LaSalle College of the Arts in Singapore specialising in Fine Arts, majoring in Sculpture. He believes that Art is an avenue for children to express their creativity, their thoughts, and their stories.
